Book a Site Visit

Arrange a site visit for accurate measurements, clear photos and practical installation planning before we manufacture or fit your signage. We work from Hartbeespoort and Pretoria across Tshwane, Brits, Centurion and surrounding Gauteng areas.

Book a Site Visit

Why a site visit matters before sign work starts

A proper site visit removes guesswork. It tells us what is already on site, what space is available, how the sign will be fixed and what access is needed for safe installation. For retail stores, offices, warehouses and municipal sites, this step helps prevent delays, rework and unexpected costs.

We check the surface type, mounting height, surrounding traffic flow, power points where relevant and any restrictions on the property. In busy areas like Pretoria CBD, Centurion and Rosslyn, timing can matter as much as the sign itself, especially where loading bays, security access or municipal approvals are involved.

What we assess during the visit

Each visit is handled with the final application in mind. We measure accurately, take site photos and note anything that could affect manufacture or installation. That includes wall condition, cladding, concrete, glass, poles, roofline access and the condition of existing signage if a replacement or refurbishment is needed.

  • Exact measurements for the sign area and fixing points
  • Photos for planning artwork, sightlines and installation method
  • Notes on access, working height and safe equipment requirements
  • Checks for sun exposure, wind load and weather exposure where relevant
  • Review of power access for illuminated signs or related components

In Hartbeespoort and other humid or high sun areas, materials and fixings need to be selected with durability in mind. Coastal conditions are not the issue here, but dust, heat and strong afternoon sun still affect vinyl, paint and certain substrates over time.

How to book a site visit using the enquiry form

Use the enquiry form on our contact page to book a site visit. Include your location, the type of sign or branding you need and the best time for us to visit. If you already have photos, add them as well. That gives our team a head start and helps us prepare the right person for the job.

  • Your site address and area, such as Pretoria, Akasia, Soshanguve, Brits or Centurion
  • A short description of the signage or branding you need
  • Any deadlines, launch dates or campaign rollout dates
  • Whether the site is a new build, an existing store or a refurbishment
  • Any access notes, gate rules or security procedures

Once we receive your request, Revasha Desai in Client Services will coordinate the booking and confirm the next step. If the site needs a specialised review, Riaan Odendaal or Kagiso Ndlovu may be involved depending on the technical side of the work.

What happens after the survey

After the visit, we use the measurements and photos to prepare the job properly. Ayanda Mavuso can then refine the artwork, while Retief Wessels and the production team assess fabrication needs. If the site needs permit assistance, we factor that into the planning as well so the process does not stall later.

Depending on the job, the survey may lead to one of these outcomes:

  • A quote for new signage with fabrication and installation included
  • Artwork prep and layout checks for branding across multiple sites
  • A maintenance plan for repair, cleaning or replacement of old signs
  • A phased rollout for stores or branches across Tshwane and Gauteng

For vehicle wrap fitting, we also look at parking space, vehicle condition and whether the unit can be parked safely for the duration of the work. If the surface is damaged or the old branding has lifted, we can advise on the best removal and preparation method first.

Site visit planning for retailers, brands and municipalities

Retail sites often need quick turnaround and after-hours work to avoid trading interruptions. Brand rollouts may need consistent placement across multiple branches so every store looks the same. Municipal work may need extra attention to compliance, access control and documented sign-off before installation starts.

Our team has worked on projects across Hartbeespoort, Pretoria, Brits, Centurion, Tshwane, Akasia, Rosslyn and Soshanguve, so we understand local conditions and site differences. Whether the job is a single fascia sign or a full promotional branding rollout, a measured visit gives everyone a clear starting point.

Hendrik Mokoena oversees the business and keeps the process practical from first enquiry to final handover. That means you get straight answers, a proper site record and a plan that matches the conditions on the ground not just what looks good on paper.

Tips to prepare for our arrival

A few simple steps can make the visit quicker and more useful. If the sign area is inside a mall, warehouse yard or secured premises, please make sure access is arranged before the appointment. If there are existing signs that must be kept or removed, let us know in advance. That helps us plan equipment and labour correctly.

  • Keep the area clear where possible so measurements can be taken safely
  • Have the responsible contact person available on site
  • Share any building rules, permit conditions or landlord requirements
  • Point out problem areas such as cracked walls, loose cladding or poor lighting

If there is load shedding on the day, we can still complete a physical survey, but extra lighting or access arrangements may help where indoor photos or detailed checks are needed. The more we see, the better we can plan the job from the start.
