Campaign Rollouts

When a promotion needs to land on several sites at once, timing and consistency matter as much as the signage itself. HM Graphics & Signs manages regional campaign rollouts from Hartbeespoort and Pretoria across Tshwane, Centurion, Brits and surrounding areas.

Campaign Rollouts

What a campaign rollout covers

A campaign rollout is more than printing a few signs and sending them out. It is a coordinated programme for multi-site branding where each location needs the same message, the correct sizes, and installation done at the right time. We handle concept support, artwork prep, production, delivery, fitting and follow-up so your stores, branches or public sites go live in step with your launch date.

We work on retail promotions, seasonal branding, public awareness signage, rebranding programmes and short-run campaigns that must be installed quickly across Hartbeespoort, Pretoria, Centurion, Brits, Akasia, Rosslyn, Soshanguve and the wider Gauteng area. For municipal work, we also factor in site access, traffic control, and permit requirements where needed, so the rollout does not stall halfway through.

From brief to rollout schedule

Every rollout starts with a practical brief. We need the site list, the campaign dates, the sign types, and any brand rules that must be followed. From there we map the work into stages: site survey if needed, design confirmation, production, kitting, installation and sign-off. If there are 12 branches or 120, the schedule is built around the actual site conditions, not guesses.

  • Site audit and measurements for each branch or location
  • Artwork adjustment to match sizes, substrates and viewing distances
  • Production planning for grouped fabrication and print runs
  • Installation sequencing by area to reduce travel time and delays
  • Photo feedback or completion records after each site

For campaigns covering Gauteng, we often split the roll-out by zone, for example Pretoria and Tshwane first, then Centurion and Brits, so teams can work efficiently and the client gets a steady flow of completed sites. That also helps when launch dates are tight and there is no room for guesswork.

Signs, graphics and fitments used in rollouts

Campaign rollouts can include a mix of internal and external branding. We manufacture and fit items such as correx signs, ACM panels, vinyl graphics, window branding, fascias, directional signs, banner frames, promotional boards and vehicle graphics where the campaign includes mobile units or fleet branding. Materials are selected for the location, weather exposure and expected duration of the promotion.

For short campaigns, we often use removable vinyl and lightweight boards that are easy to change after a promotion ends. For longer runs, we recommend more durable substrates with printed laminates or cut vinyl, especially in sun-heavy areas, coastal humidity zones and sites exposed to dust or vandalism. In some cases we can combine signage with promo items on the same rollout, which keeps the look consistent across every branch.

  • Indoor and outdoor branded panels
  • Temporary or semi-permanent promotional signage
  • Window vinyls, floor graphics and wall graphics
  • Directional and point-of-sale signage
  • Vehicle branding for campaign fleets and activations

Production standards that keep the rollout consistent

Consistency is the main challenge in a multi-site rollout. One branch cannot have a slightly different colour, font size or logo position and still look like part of the same campaign. We control this by checking artwork once, then applying the same production specs across the full order. Panels are cut to size, print profiles are matched, and all fixings are selected before the first item leaves the workshop.

Our in-house production setup lets us manage the sequence closely, which is useful when load-shedding or transport delays could upset a launch date. We plan cutting, print runs and fabrication around power availability and installation windows, so the work keeps moving. If the campaign needs staged delivery, each pack is labelled by site, with fittings and notes included so the installation crew can move quicker on site.

Installation, handover and site protection

Installation teams work with the site conditions on the day, including mall rules, municipal access controls, security checks and operating hours. Before fitting begins, we confirm that surfaces are suitable, that the fixing method is safe, and that the sign will hold in the expected wind or weather exposure. Where needed, we arrange after-hours fitting to avoid trading disruption. Kagiso and the installation team also check the final position against the approved layout before sign-off.

We take care to leave the area neat. That includes removing offcuts, cleaning the face of the sign, and checking that no adhesive residue or loose fixings remain. For retail campaigns, we can schedule the rollout store by store, so each site is finished before the next one starts. If a landlord or municipality requires specific fixing methods or paperwork, we build that into the job early instead of trying to sort it out on the day.

  • Safe fixing on brick, steel, glass, painted walls and ACM
  • After-hours or phased installations where trading hours matter
  • Protection of floors, counters and display areas during fitting
  • Completion checks and basic maintenance advice after handover

Turnaround, pricing and maintenance intervals

Turnaround depends on the number of sites, the complexity of the sign mix, and whether permits or surveys are needed. A small regional rollout may take a few working days, while a larger campaign across Tshwane and Gauteng can run in phases over several weeks. We confirm realistic lead times upfront so your launch plan can be set with confidence, not crossed fingers.

Pricing is based on the full scope of the rollout: design time, materials, manufacturing, access requirements, installation method and travel between sites. If you want cost control, we can price the campaign in stages or split it by area. That makes it easier to manage budgets for chain stores, franchise groups and municipal programmes. For maintenance, we usually recommend a check every 3 to 6 months for permanent external signs, and after major wind, hail or vandalism incidents. Temporary campaign graphics should be inspected before launch and again at the mid-point if the run lasts more than a few weeks.

Hendrik Mokoena leads the business with a team that understands how to plan, fabricate and install across varied site types.

Questions we get asked

Can you manage a rollout across several towns at the same time?

Yes. We plan by area and install in phases so sites in Pretoria, Centurion, Brits and Tshwane can be handled under one rollout schedule.

Do you help with permits or landlord approvals?

We can assist where permits, site rules or landlord approvals affect the work. That is checked early so the rollout does not get held up later.

What if the campaign is short and needs removal later?

We can specify removable graphics and temporary signage for short-term campaigns, and we can advise on safe removal once the promotion ends.
